ERTP — Extended Range Terminal Performance, Twenty-Nine's proprietary technology and the core of the Crockett hunting line. A machined pure-copper monolithic with a very soft expanding tip over a hard shank, which lowers the expansion threshold so the bullet still opens reliably at the reduced impact velocities found further out. On impact the tip forms four cutting petals; expansion is clean and splinter-free with little fragmentation. Driving bands and an optimised boattail keep barrel fouling low even at high muzzle velocity, and it suits any rifling profile. Recommended hunting range: long, medium and short.
