The Hornady ELD-X (Extremely Low Drag - eXpanding) bullet features a revolutionary Heat Shield tip that resists aerodynamic heating and maintains its shape for consistent ballistic performance at extreme range. The InterLock ring and thick jacket ensure reliable expansion and high weight retention, making it effective from close range to extended hunting distances. This non-lead-free bullet offers match-grade accuracy with hunting-grade terminal performance, bridging the gap between target and hunting bullets. The ELD-X is ideal for long-range hunting of medium to large game, with its controlled expansion preventing over-expansion at high velocity or under-expansion at low velocity.
