La balle Hornady ELD-Match présente un design à faible traînée et à ogive aiguë avec une pointe Heat Shield pour maintenir une efficacité aérodynamique pendant le vol. Cette balle n'est pas sans plomb ; elle possède un noyau en plomb traditionnel encapsulé dans une veste en cuivre pour une excellente rétention de poids et précision. L'ELD-Match est mieux adapté pour le tir de précision à longue distance et la compétition plutôt que pour la chasse, ce qui en fait un choix idéal pour les tireurs sur cible à la recherche d'une constance et d'une performance balistiques inégalées.
