About .375 H&H Mag.
The .375 Holland & Holland Magnum, originally developed by the British company Holland & Holland in 1912, is a rifle cartridge designed to meet the needs of hunters pursuing big game. Its design was intended to provide effective performance on dangerous African game, famously fitting well in both bolt-action and double rifles. It played a significant role in African safaris throughout the 20th century and remains a popular choice among big game hunters worldwide.
In terms of technical characteristics, the .375 H&H Magnum uses a belted, rimless bottleneck case design. The belted feature supports head-spacing reliability and enhances the cartridge's ability to cycle smoothly in a variety of firearm actions.
